The BFF made Blue Guy Muppet (one of the Kit Muppets we have) into a specific guy at work and brought him in this week. Everyone loved it!
He was excited to learn that the headphones fit the Muppet perfectly.
Funny...I have a co-worker that looks just like Blue Guy Muppet when he's bald in a suit.

In wandering around the web looking for puppet resources and ideas, I have fallen in love with Fuzzhead Puppets!

He's made lots of monster type puppets, and several realistic people puppets like these, who were made after he was inspired by an episode of the Nerdist podcast. A Nerdist listener myself, I have found much inspiration from many episodes (and I'm even working on a little craft homage).

Happy Birthday

Super awesome birthday gift this year! Forty-eight is great!
The Muppet Whatnot Workshop at FAO Schwartz lets you design your own Muppet, then they make it up for you and ship it on it's way.
The BFF (that's Boy Friend Forever) got it for me, and one for himself as well. We've got lots of ideas so I thought it would be good to document the process. We're already trying to make puppet backgrounds with PVC pipe and all sorts of things.

Part of the gift was this kit, along with the gift card. The kit has three sturdy cards with the three types of Muppets available, and pages and pages of plastic clings, kinda like Colorforms. (remember Colorforms? I loved those!)
The kit came a few weeks before my birthday, and I think I tried out every possible combination before I decided for sure.
Once we placed the order on line, it, I mean she, came in the mail pretty quickly.
